In a time of uncertainty amid quarantine, we all have our coping mechanisms. Here at Men’s Health and Women’s Health, fitness is ours—and we want to help get you into the action, too.
That’s why on Friday, May 15th through Saturday, May 16th, we’re teaming up with fitness platform Mindbody to create the world’s largest virtual workout relay, “Relay for Relief,” 24 hours of back-to-back streaming workouts led by top fitness trainers to help you stay fit in isolation. From the comfort of your living room or backyard, you can take part in one (or more!) of our 30-minute classes, which include HIIT, strength, yoga, meditation, boxing, dance cardio, and more, curated by us and the folks over at both Women’s Health and Mindbody.

Anyone can sign up and each class costs just $10. Best of all, all proceeds will directly benefit COVID-19 relief efforts, including supporting studios and trainers dealing with financial loss because of nationwide gym closures, as well as United Way Worldwide’s COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund. Since March 13, Americans have filed roughly 26.5 million unemployment claims amid COVID-19—the single highest surge in claims in recorded history by the U.S. Department of Labor, and studios and trainers alike have been hard-hit amid quarantine.
Wondering how you can break a sweat and benefit relief efforts in the process? You can check the full class schedule, coming soon, and get more information on Mindbody’s website now. Plus, RSVP on Facebook to get all the updates about this exciting event. Let’s do this!
