Boots shoppers swear by £7 cuticle oil that ‘stops nails cracking completely’

Shoppers say Sally Hansen’s cuticle oil has saved their brittle nails.

The vitamin E product, which can be purchased for £6.95 from Boots, is said to nourish the fingers.

This can help to prevent cracking, splitting and breakage.

It is also believed to harder nail enamel and stimulate growth.

To apply the Sally Hansen Vitamin E Nail & Cuticle Oil, carefully massage a few drops of it onto your fingers.

For best results, do this nightly and keep re-applying when needed.

On the Boots website, customers claim they’ve seen improvement in their nails after just one usage.

A happy shopper remarked: “I had this product applied recently at a nail salon.

“I usually have very dry nails with ridges or lines on the nail. After one use, my nails are smooth and shiny and actually look healthy!

“I'm so beyond amazed with this, I had to go out and buy some for home use.”

Another said: “This is absolutely one of the best purchases I have ever made!

“My nails have always been brittle and dry, especially my cuticles but after buying this product I have noticed a huge change.

“Coupled with the Hard as Nails I have been able to grow my nails and keep them super moisturised. Very, very happy customer here.”

A third addded: “This product saved my nails! They were cracking, splitting down the side on all my nails.

“They're stronger, healthier and nourished from using the cuticle oil.

“My nails have stopped cracking completely and not peeling on the sides or under the nail.”

While the majority of reviewers have raved about the cuticle oil, it hasn’t worked for everyone.

Some complained that the product doesn’t sink into the nails quickly enough.

And another shopper said they didn’t notice an improvement to their hands.

The consumer admitted: “After using this treatment oil regularly for a while I can honestly say it has not helped at all.

“My nails are still peeling and my cuticles are still very dry. Will have to try something else.”

If you’re suffering from brittle or broken nails, it’s worth seeking the advice of your GP.
