Tracee Ellis Ross has a resume that stacks up: accomplished actress, model, comedian, TV host, and more. And her latest Instagram post adds something else to the list—owner of some seriously sculpted abs.
Um, yeah, you’re about to totally envy the 46-year-old’s killer bod (and her lol-worthy caption).
Tracee posted a photo on Instagram this weekend wearing a black and white bikini, with the caption: “STILL DEFROSTING FROM THE MACY’S THANKSGIVING PARADE.” And, damn, she looks good.

ICYMI Tracee is referring to her appearance in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade this past weekend (with superstar mom Diana Ross).
But, let’s be honest, what you want to know is this: How does the black-ish star get that bod? Apparently, she doesn’t mess around: Tracee works out three to four days a week, according to People. And her go-to moves come from celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson. (P.S. Anderson trains J.Lo, too.)
“New program,” Tracee captioned a too-funny Instagram video of her doing a Tracy Anderson Method move and fake crying. “My body is like, what the f— is going on?”

And Tracee is all of us as she goofily grins and dances through another Anderson fitness routine.

Based on her fitness posts on Instagram, it looks like she also works hard AF at a gym in Los Angeles called Heart and Hustle, where she cranks out classic strength moves like squats and biceps curls.

No doubt Tracee’s humor paired with hard work is paying off. In addition to her badass post-Turkey Day photo, she also shared a video during a trip to Italy for her birthday in October. In it, she’s wearing blue and orange bikini, and she looks a-mazing.

Of course, Tracee also sticks to a healthy diet to maintain her shape. She told People she drinks several liters of water a day and enjoys simple, whole foods, like seasonal produce from the farmers market. She also eats an early dinner (between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.) and allows herself a once-a-week indulgence at one of her favorite restaurants where she enjoys a glass of wine.
But, at the end of the day, staying healthy is a form of self-care for Tracee. “Exercise helps make my body strong enough to do what I set my heart and mind to, I carry myself differently when I feel strong,” she captioned a photo for International Self Care Day.

INTERNATIONAL SELF CARE DAY ~ exercise helps make my body strong enough to do what i set my heart and mind to. i carry myself differently when i feel strong. i’ve always worked out and been active, and it’s one of the ways i care for myself: along with meditation, baths, eating beautiful things that make me happy, being silent, and being with friends and family. self-care is one of the active ways that i love myself. when you can and as you can, in ways that feel loving, make time and space for yourself. #internationalselfcareday
