Mum says bargain cream from Aldi ‘cured’ her son’s painful eczema overnight

A mum says a £2.60 cream from Aldi helped to clear her son’s eczema.

Sarah Boyd, from Caerphilly, South Wales, was desperate to find a remedy to heal her eight-year-old’s cracked and bleeding feet.

The painful symptoms made it difficult for her son Ben to walk around.

So in a bid to remedy his shedding soles, the parent started looking out for products that could help.

Initially, the 43-year-old’s search for treatment was difficult.

And when Ben’s symptoms worsened, she was forced to cut Ben’s flaking skin off with nail clippers.

Sarah remembered: ”Absolutely nothing was working.

"it was absolutely heartbreaking."

Thankfully, the mum’s luck changed when she picked up a bottle of Palmer's Cocoa Butter in the Aldi sale.

The £2.60 ointment helped to alleviate symptoms after just one application, much to the family’s delight.

Sarah said: "It was brilliant, I felt like crying in the morning when I saw his feet."

"It was amazing. The next day it was like he had completely different feet.

"He was as shocked as me.

"It's made a huge difference."

Ben is equally chuffed with the results.

He commented: "It used to be hurting, blistering and bleeding all the time.

"I feel way better, it's like having new feet."
