Service, consulting, Training: This fitness studios convince in the Test

The German Institute for Service quality conducted in 2019, again, the so-called Mystery-Tests – on behalf of the news channel ‘n-tv’ has been nationwide studied ten fitness Studio chains covered.

For the results, Service, advice, training, supply, and training conditions were tested – the service, the range of exercise equipment and the cleanliness in the different areas performed particularly well.

Ten Fitness chains have been tested

For the studies of chains with nationwide for at least 25 branches were taken in the period from September 2019 to January 2020, ten large, nationwide fitness center-under the magnifying glass.

In a total of 90 covert Visit by test persons in the different branches of each chain, the Studios have been investigated on different criteria. In addition, 30 covert phone – and just as many E-Mail Tests were carried out.

The right advice, a detailed sample training as well as training conditions and offer were for the studies in focus – a total of 150 service contacts were with the gym providers in the evaluations.

These fitness studios have been able to convince

In principle, all operators were able to offer good advice and sample training questions of the customer to the fitness program have been answered in detail.

On the front seats of the evaluations Injoy ended up with 77.9 percent, Fitnessloft with 76.2 percent and easy fitness with 75.3 percent.

The winner of the test Injoy convinced in the Mystery-Test with the best performance in the area of consulting and training – the employees were able to advise the subjects competently, comprehensively as well as individually, and you devices and Exercises explained in detail.

Particularly positive is the presence of fitness trainers on the training surface, the active contact with the Train shots was considered in addition.

Gyms convince your ambience

The range of strength and cardio equipment in almost all gyms extensive. However, only two-thirds of the tested Studios were also able to convince with a wide range of courses.

All in All, shone all the Fitness chains, especially with their well-kept, clean atmosphere and attractively designed stores.

A somewhat different picture emerged for the training support – the present fitness trainer at the worse-placed Fitness chains conducted hardly or only irregular tours to the area, and were rarely active in the training of the members.

A good training support for the members is that, unfortunately, is not yet a Standard, but only with the best providers given.
