Neil Patrick Harris is proudly showing off his toned physique to his 8.6 million Instagram followers—and he’s looking lean and fit for the summer.
The 48-year-old actor and comedian is spending part of his summer in the Hamptons with his family (as one does when you’re a celebrity). His summer home, apparently, has a killer personal gym to keep his fitness goals on track. In a mirror selfie posted on July 28, NPH casually poses shirtless at his home gym with some exercise equipment visible in the background.
The star captioned the photo with the simple phrase, “Workin’ on it,” adding a trio of hashtags: #homegym, #summerbody, and #flexing.
Through the post, NPH indirectly let his fans in on one of his training secrets: some tech-forward machinery. One of the pieces of gym equipment featured in the background of the photo is the ever-popular “smart home gym,” Tonal.

For those playing at home, Tonal does run a cool $2,995, so maybe it isn’t something you’d buy on a whim. But at the very least, it’s an investment you can aspire to make when you start spending your summers in the Hamptons like NPH.
