Gabrielle Union just shared an adorable photo of herself high-fiving daughter Kaavia James, but her abs might have stolen the show. (At least, I can’t stop staring at them.) In the pic, the 47-year-old L.A.’s Finest star and her 1-year-old daughter can be seen lounging on towels in the grass with the sun shining down on them.
Kaavia is wearing a cute duckie-themed pool cover-up and Gabrielle is working a striped bikini for all its worth. “You got this girl. I got your back. Sometimes a well timed high five is enough to get you through to the next day. Love & light good people 👙 🐥,” Gabrielle wrote in the caption.
While the message is sweet, plenty of people in the comments couldn’t get past how amazing Gabrielle looks, and fair. “Bodyyyyyy❤️,” one wrote. “Legs👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🔥❤️,” another said. “Fresh as everrrrrrrrrr 🖤🔥💯😍,” someone else said.

Despite the fact that she looks like that, Gabrielle shared a few months ago that she recently took a hiatus from working out. “Took almost 2 months off, now to build it back,” she wrote in an Instagram Story video in March 2020. In the video (which was shot at 6 a.m., btw), Gabrielle puts her legs, butt, and arms through all kinds of workouts.
She also previously told Women’s Health that she likes to do cardio intervals in her workouts. “I like to mix it up so I don’t get anxiety staring at the treadmill,” she said. “Cardio could be jumping jacks, running up my driveway, side shuffles like I used to do in basketball, an elliptical, treadmill, or sled pushes.”
But, of course, she has some go-tos she likes to do. “There are some old faithfuls I’ve been doing my whole life: squats and lunges,” she said. “They’ve never really failed.”
