Hot Topic Just Launched a Beetlejuice Eye Palette, and It's Already Selling Out

With Halloween less than a month away now, everyone and their mother is starting to get in the holiday spirit. This means that most people are either planning (or procrastinating) their costumes, candy corn is suddenly a staple in the snack cabinet, and for the beauty obsessed, Halloween hair and makeup tutorials are on non-stop in the background. Speaking of which, if your costume this year requires colorful eye shadow, you're in luck, because Hot Topic has the best new Beetlejuice-themed palette that people can't stop talking about.

Aptly called the Beetlejuice Handbook for the Recently Deceased, the 12-pan palette in question features shades of orange, teal, emerald, and violet — among others — all of which come shaped as tiny coffins. (Surprisingly, it's cuter than it sounds.) Each shade has its own spooky moniker inspired by the timeless Tim Burton film, such as Darkroom, a bright purple; Strange & Unusual, a stark black; and Shrunken Head, a glitter-flecked copper. With a variety of high-voltage hues to choose from, there are at least three to four badass eye makeup looks you can create using this palette.

The palette itself was made to look exactly like the book for the dead featured in the 1988 movie starring Alex Baldwin, Winona Ryder, and Geena Davis. In fact, from the outside, it's actually nearly impossible to tell that it's an eye shadow palette at all. However, on the inside, it couldn't be more obvious thanks to the iconic black and white stripes, beetle designs, and an eerie graveyard set up for the shadows. The brand developed the palette in honor of Beetlejuice's 30th anniversary, which was this past March.

The one problem? As of now, Hot Topic is all out of the popular palette, which originally retailed for $17 before going on sale this week for $13. Luckily, there are countless colorful palettes on the market you can use to create similar looks, with these highly pigmented ones being some of our favorites.

Now, anyone else going home to watch Beetlejuice tonight?
